La Madeleine, the country French café beloved by guests for more than 30 years for its authentic traditions and approachable French cuisine will open its newest El Paso location at 6801 N. Mesa Street (near the intersection at Resler Road) on Oct. 25.
The grand opening celebration begins at 6:30 a.m. and the first 100 guests in line will be given vouchers for free, freshly-baked bread for a year. All attendees will receive complimentary coffee, bread and jam.
Operated by local franchisees Alejandra De La Vega Foster and Paul Foster, the café will offer handmade traditional country French favorites like Quiche Lorraine (egg, ham, bacon and Swiss baked in a flaky pie crust), Croque Monsieur (an elevated ham and cheese sandwich) and Potato Galette (a French potato cake blended with cheese and fresh herbs) as well as salades, soupes, sandwiches, pastries and entrees.
“At la Madeleine we bring love to everything we do, from our maison-made recipes created from scratch each day to our warm, charming dining rooms and ‘Joie de Servir’ – our pleasure in serving our guests,” said De La Vega Foster. “We know that la Madeleine offers a unique country French experience to the local community and we hope that our friends and neighbors join us on grand opening day to celebrate.”
The 4,500-square-foot café with a 1,000-square-foot patio will bring approximately 70 jobs to El Paso. For hours, complete menu and other information about la Madeleine, please visit http://lamadeleine.com/.
